Mitochondria (mitochondrion) are organelles, or parts of a eukaryote cell. They are in the cytoplasm, not the nucleus. They make most of the cell’s supply of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), a molecule that cells use as a source of energy. This means mitochondria are known as “the powerhouse of the cell” Like the engine of your car. The mitochondria makes 90% of your body’s energy in the form of ATP, this energy is vital to sustain life and support healthy organ function. The body’s main energy consumer is the brain, muscle, liver, kidney, gastrointestinal track, heart and lungs. When the mitochondria (engine) is dysfunctional the body expresses itself in different ways such as chronic diseases, allergies, seizures, strokes, heart and kidney issues, speech problems, sight, and all kinds of autoimmune diseases. In order to get your body fully functioning you need to fix your mitochondria first so that your engine has enough energy to fight back. Even though Dr’s are agreeing that there is no fix for lupus is because they look the wrong way. They try to fight lupus directly with harmful medications without addressing the core of the cause.
How do you know if you’re mitochondria dysfunctional?
- Cognitive decline
- Long recovery time
- The body needs more oxygen during intense training (out of breath) which leads to dizziness.
- Problem with coordination
- Muscle weakness
- Muscle quiver
- Nervous system dysfunction
- Fatigue
- Weak eye muscles or rapid involuntary movement
- Accelerate aging
What triggers mitochondria dysfunction?
- Exposure to certain environmental factors
- Drugs,
- Air pollution,
- Chemicals,
- Cigarettes smoke
- Genetic abnormalities (DNA, Mitochondria is inherited from our Moms genetic only)
The mitochondria act very similarly to your microbiome, if you don’t keep the little trillions of bacteria happy they will make you feel bad and they have a huge impact on your mood and decision-making. The mitochondria decide on how you feel. But, you’re still in charge of them.
Mitochondria dysfunction is one of the main characteristics of aging and disease. In fact, scientists can link mitochondria dysfunction with nearly every age-related disease.
Now we know what an important role the mitochondria play in your body. But, how do we fix it or at least improve it?
Sleep: The mitochondria make energy during deep sleep to take out the trash. He re is how to improve your deep sleep.
No light exposure 2h prior to sleeping (Phone, PC, TV, etc) Or use true dark glasses
The room needs to be completely blackout
When you go to the bathroom don’t turn on the light. Use red light instead.
Take Melatonin, GABA 1h before bedtime
Breathing: Follow Wim Hof’s breathing technique to increase oxygen uptake and to deliver more oxygen to the cells (mitochondria) the cells need oxygen and nutrients to function a 100%. It relaxed the body and brain, improves blood flow& immunity, Calms anxiety, helps you sleep better, increases energy levels, reduces inflammation, and regulates autonomic nervous system. Follow this link for instruction https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tybOi4hjZFQ
Cold exposure: Research has shown cold or ice exposure strengthens your mitochondria. Take a Cold shower for 30sec and build up daily (Ice bath) Once it’s getting easier each week that’s a sign of improved mitochondria. Or go for a 20min walk out in the cold.
Light & Heat therapy It can be in different forms such as infrared sauna, regular sauna, red light therapy, and sun exposure. The energy needs in the mitochondria increase, resulting in better use of oxygen in the blood through a process called oxidative phosphorylation.
2-3 times per week.
Food & Nutrition Omega 3 fatty acids & MCT Brain Octane (The mitochondria needs fat to function) Saturated and unsaturated fats. Fish is a good source as well.
Bone Broth & Collagen are rich in amino acids.
Fibers feed the microbiome, which correlates to mitochondria dysfunction
Fresh veggies (NO Nightshades) White potato, tomatoes, eggplants, bell peppers, cayenne peppers, paprika. They contain high levels of lectins, which can cause allergic reactions in many people.
Eat less meat but organic grass-fed. When animals are grain-fed you consume grains, which is the same as eating grains which is NO good for your condition.
Eat NO Grains!
Every morning drink a bulletproof coffee with 1 tablespoon of brain octane MCT oil and 1 teaspoon of chee butter. Bulletproof coffee is mold tested.
Supplements:
- Brain Octane MCT Oil (bulletproof) 1 tablespoon per day
- Spermadine 1g per day (on empty stomach to enhance autophagy)
- NR / Nicotinamide Riboside or NMN 1g per day (DNA repair, Significantly improved mitochondrial function in stem cells, Anti-Inflammatory, slows down aging)
- Resveratrol 1g per day (Must mix with fat for absorption /Makes Cells younger / Turns on longevity Genes / Antioxidant / Anti-Inflammatory)
- Epitalon Peptide 10mg shots (Lengthens Telomeres /Prevents DNA damage / Helps to increase the body’s production of telomerase, an enzyme responsible for replicating DNA so that the body can repair damaged cells and create new ones, Better regulated pineal gland function / Strengthened immune system, Best anti-aging for DNA and TELOMERES)
- C-60 Carbon (Take it on empty stomach / Prevents DND damage / Protect cells from free radicals / It showed in clinical studies to reduce wrinkles, reduce inflammation and boost your immune system)
- AKG / Alpha-Ketoglutarate (Extends life span by 50% / Improves Healthspan / Anti-Inflammatory / Collagen production / Endurance Performance)
- Pine Needle Tea 3 cups per day (Maximizing the immune system improving vision, preventing respiratory infections, stimulating circulation, avoiding chronic disease, increasing cognitive performance, strengthening heart health, and speeding healing / High levels of Vitamin A & C, which is good for your eyesight / Improves hair and skin regeneration / Relieve chest congestion)
- Glutathione 500mg per day (Make sure to take it on an empty stomach Use liposomal glutathione / Reduces oxidative stress / Reduces cell damage in alcoholic and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease / Improves insulin resistance / Reduces oxidative stress in the body to improve your overall complexion / helps your body burn off fat cells, and it helps your liver remove toxins/glutathione conjugation helps to detoxify the liver?
- Vitamin C 300mg per day, Zinc 50mg per day, Probiotics & Prebiotics
- IV Once per week (with a high amount of glutathione, vitamin C, B-Complex)
- TMG 1g per day (Take TMG 1g with NMN for the methylation process / TMG should be taken with co-factors B6, B12, and folic acid / enhance heart health, boost athletic performance, promote healthy insulin levels, and protect against depression)
