  1. Increase Muscle Growth One of the most popular uses of BCAAs is that of enhancing muscle growth. The BCAA known as leucine activates a certain pathway in the body that stimulates muscle protein synthesis. This is the process of making muscle. In one study, people who consumed a drink with 5.6 grams of BCAAs after their resistance workout had a 22% greater increase in muscle protein synthesis compared to those who consumed a placebo drink. This being said, such an increase in muscle protein synthesis is approximately 50% less than what was observed in other studies where people consumed a whey protein shake containing a similar amount of BCAAs. Therefore, while BCAAs can increase muscle protein synthesis, they can’t do so maximally without the other amino acids, such as those found in whey protein or other complete protein sources.   1. Decrease Muscle Soreness Some research suggests BCAAs can help decrease muscle soreness after a workout. It’s not uncommon to feel sore a day or two after a workout, especially if your exercise routine is new. This soreness is called delayed onset muscle soreness, otherwise known as DOMS. DOMS develops 12 to 24 hours after exercise and can last up to 72 hours. BCAAs have been shown to decrease muscle damage, which may help reduce the length and severity of DOMS. Several studies further indicate that BCAAs decrease protein breakdown during exercise and lower levels of creatine kinase in the muscle tissue. High levels of creatine kinase are indicative of muscle damage, Therefore, supplementing with BCAAs, particularly before exercise, may speed up recovery time.
  1. Reduce Exercise Fatigue Just as BCAAs may help decrease muscle soreness due to exercise, they may also help reduce exercise-induced fatigue. Everyone experiences fatigue from exercise at some point. How quickly you tire out depends on several factors, including exercise intensity and duration, environmental conditions as well as your nutrition and fitness level. Your muscles use BCAAs during exercise, causing their levels to do crease in the bloodstream. When blood levels of BCAAs decline, levels of the essential amino acid tryptophan increase in the brain. In your brain, tryptophan is converted into serotonin, a chemical that is thought to contribute to the development of fatigue during exercise.

The balance between muscle protein breakdown and synthesis determines the overall amount of protein in muscles. Muscle wasting occurs when protein breakdown exceeds muscle protein synthesis. Muscle wasting is a sign of malnutrition and occurs during periods of chronic infections or fasting. It is also present in people who suffer from cancer or a similar chronic illness. In humans, BCAAs account for 35% of the essential amino acids found in muscle proteins. They account for 40% of the total amino acids required by your body. Therefore, it’s important that the BCAAs and other essential amino acids are replaced during times of muscle wasting to halt or slow its progression.

BCAAs Improve Aerobic and Anaerobic Performance When Taken Regularly- Trained cyclists supplementing with 6g of BCAAs for a week leading up to a graded exercise test to exhaustion achieved a 4% higher VO2 max, including 13% higher VO2 at the lactate threshold (LT) and 6% greater power output at LT compared to placebo (Matsumoto et al, 2009). As any athlete knows, a small increase in performance can mean the difference between a podium finish or not. In a similar study involving trained cyclists, researchers found that 10 weeks of BCAA supplementation (12 g per day) resulted in a 19% increase in all-out sprint peak power and a 4% increase in average power relative to body mass when compared to placebo (Kephart et al., 2016).

    This is a great product – aside from being high quality and very clean with no added fillers, it gives me good feeling energy without the jitters for my workouts and has increased my recovery time post work out! It also leaves me feeling refreshed throughout the day. This particular formula doesn’t make my stomach upset and the taste is easily covered with some extra BCAA’s or preworkout. Would highly recommend this product to anyone!

    DAAANG!! That stuff is killer. Not that I wouldn’t trust Dave (the Foudner and Owner of BioCorp) anyway, we are friends for more than 10 years, but the products are even way better than he described.
    I ordered and 2 days later I already had my products.
    I worked chest and some arms yesterday and felt like my muscle would rip. Such a nice pump it gives you. I have the feeling it also helps great with recovery. Not even 12 hours later I feel like picking up the weights again.

    I’ve been working out for over 30 years. I’ve pretty much used every supplement category ever created, from Protein shakes, Fat Burners, all the way to Pre-workout supplements….which brings me to BioCorp Muscle Building Pro.

    The goal for me in a workout session is to drive as much oxygen and blood to the muscles being trained, so that I can get the best “muscle pumps”, which we use to tear down as much muscle fibrils (myofibrils) as possible so that the muscles grow once properly fed afterwards.

    I have never ever used any Pre-workout that even comes close to the “muscle pumps” that I have gotten after using BioCorp MBP!!! The most insane pumps ever! 2 scoops is all it takes. I highly recommend BioCorp MBP!!!

    The product certainly gave me increased endurance during my workouts and a better pump of blood to the muscles I was working on.

    I’ve been taking amino acids and using pre workout formulas for 20 plus years. Nothing ive taken in the past has compared to the rush I get when I take MBP. I was given a sample one day and 20 minutes later the stamina and blood flow was of the charts! Best workouts I’ve ever had along with the best gains I’ve ever had!     I have over past few years have turns out damaged my whole body from excess training, long stress, smoking, and of course processed foods.
    I have problem with my muscles tissue or nerve problems or circulation. I have tried my supplements like Complex B, Bone Broth, Multi collagen, herbs, mushrooms, etc that have supported other area throughout body.
    When I took these EAAs tables 5g each day for 3 straight days, I felt something little different but not that of a big change towards my muscle tissue. So I took 20g each day for straight 7 day on a empty stomach as Ben says in his podcast. Right now I feel like I’m wearing 10 layer skin throughout my body. And it seem that I have less of muscle pain than I use to. Thinking I need to buy more for like 6 months to see further changes while doing slow training, 10g 3 time a day on empty stomach.

    These aminos are amazing, just amazing. I used these during my Ultraman Florida race this month. I was recovering from an injury and did not want to miss the race. I did 10 tablets in the morning and at night and I recovered like a champ. Then, during the 3 day stage race, I drank the amino powder as recommended–one dose for every two hours of exercise. It worked like magic while I was on the bike as I maintained a relatively clear head. This was especially true towards the end of the grueling second stage where I seemed to be gaining energy. I can’t say enough good things about this product. I’m hooked.

    Always take before long runs. Two scoops in a glass of water seems to give steady energy. Took my normal before last marathon and again halfway through and had energy the whole way. Wish they made something for when everything on body hurts at mile 25😂. Not a daily user do to price point but anytime I’m going 8 or more miles I drink it. Typically 3 times a week. It’s an acquired taste but didn’t take long to acquire it👍. I would recommend.
